Brief History

Wexford Farmers Co-Operative Society Ltd (WFC) is a farmer owned co-operative mart operating since 1968 in County Wexford.

WFC Livestock Division

The hub of the business is our livestock marts,
Old Dublin Road, Enniscorthy, Co. Wexford, which commenced business in 1969 as Co. Wexford Marts. This division is managed by
Tommy Harrington.

WFC Properties & Real Estate Agents, specialists in
agri sales residential, commercial, sites, valuations, farms (sales /letting & leases)


WFC has over 4000 shareholders who elect a 12 person board of directors of which Charles Kavanagh of Drumgoold House, Enniscorthy, Co. Wexford is the present chairman. The society employs 30 people and the chief executive is Frank Devoy.

Wednesday 10th February – Monthly Dairy & Suckler Sale @ 1 p.m. Special entry of 18- 3yr old Friesian Heifers in calf to AA Bull due to calve from mid February to March. More details on the day of sale.

Next Machinery Sale Thursday the 10th of March at 11:00 am entries now being taken. Entries closing wednesday the 24th of February at 5


WFC is fully licensed to export all live animals to UK and Continental Europe.
At our Livestock Mart site in Enniscorthy, we have a purpose built Lairage unit in
order to facilitate and meet existing Statutory requirements. We are located approx
40 minutes from Rosslare Euro Port.
